What kind of payment do you accept?
We accept payment in the form of credit card, email money transfers through your bank, cash and cheques.
Do I need to provide a deposit?
Yes. A 50% deposit (of the total quoted project cost) is due after we sign the contract in order to secure a spot on our calendar.
How do you charge?
Every project begins with a quote based on your intake form and our initial consultation meeting. You will be required to pay a 50% deposit, sign the estimate and acknowledge our terms of agreement. After the project is complete you will pay the remaining balance, then you will receive all of the files (editable and finalized).
We do our best not to go over the estimate, but if we do risk running over the allotted budget we will communicate in advance to come up with a solution.
What are your typical turn-around times?
Turn-around times depend on our agreed timeline. Typically, a brand identity package has a turn-around time of 2-3 weeks and websites range from 4-8+ weeks.
A big factor of our timelines and deadlines is the responsiveness and promptness in getting approvals and revisions on time. If you have reason for delay during the project, please expect a delay on delivery.
Do you have payment plans?
For projects are over $3000, you have the option of paying the 50% instalments, or you can choose to pay in 4 instalments (25% due up front, 25% due at milestone 1, 25% due at milestone 2 and 25% due upon completion).
Do you do web development and coding?
We do! We choose to work primarily with WordPress for our clients because it’s easier to have them manage the small changes later on, but if something requires custom development, or you prefer to have a site developed from scratch, then we can help you out.
When things get super intricate or detailed, we may work with a trusted web developer and pass our designs off to be coded more efficiently or securely. If this is something you’d like to discuss further, please get in touch!
Can you design just a logo for me? I know exactly what I want…
Short answer: No.
Long answer: We will design a brand package for you.
Your brand isn’t just a logo or a graphic. Our process combines research and strategy to help you build your brand and help you create a connection with your customer. We won’t just make you a graphic, there’s a lot of thought that goes into delivering a brand package and the need for a brand guide and establishing this at an early stage is critical for anyone who takes their brand seriously.
There is almost always a need for multiple variations and sizes to a logo. We like to create a package of variations to a logo: one main logo, secondary and then a logo mark. It just makes sense for most brands because you don’t know how much “real-estate” your going to have to work with!
Just think about what will happen after you receive your logo, you start to use it for your business… Wouldn’t it be nice to have a guide that outlines the uses for each logo variation, the colour codes for all platforms, the fonts, the spacing?.. All of these little details are what creates brand consistency!
On the other-hand, if you’re simply looking for a logo re-design/rebrand and have enough of your own current research or brand identity setup already, we are happy to chat about ways we can work together.
Do you have business hours?
Yes, our office hours are Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm, with the odd exception for exemplary purposes.

What if I’m not happy with the final design?
Our process is collaborative, so there shouldn’t be any surprises with your final design or invoice. If there are changes they are communicated in advance – from the beginning, you are involved in the process. We’ll start with an initial consultation to make sure we’re a good fit and chat a little more about your goals and hopes for the project.
How soon can we start my project?
This depends on a few different things. We do limit the number of clients we work with at one time to give the proper amount of attention to each project. After requesting your project, we’ll go over a timeline together and determine how soon we can start your project. If you’re requesting your project and have a particular deadline or time frame, please include that in the details of your message!
What do you need from me during the process?
Everything we work on will require some level of collaboration! We begin every project with a client intake form, followed by a client consultation either via phone or for a coffee if you’re in the Vancouver area.
Please expect to have things like content for websites or branding material ready to go. That means copy (the text of your project), imagery or any other piece of material you wish to include. If you aren’t ready with your materials yet, the deadlines will be delayed.
